29th May 2011 Hiking - Walking: Dedham to Flatford Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods Max Speed: Distance Covered: 4 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) After this morning windsurfing disaster !!!! we decided to do my favourite pastime at the moment walking with my camera :) So we took Rob and Hannah to Dedham,parked behind the church and headed off to Flatford.It was busy with bank holiday weekend visitors but it did'nt spoil the afternoon and we made it to Flatford quickly.We taking a few pics of the mill we went to see Willy Lotts Cottage - the scene of the famous Constable painting 'The Haywain' and it looked just the same as the painting - minus the horse and cart :( I could.nt tempt anyone with a cream tea so we set off back to Dedham seeing lots of baby geese on the way :) Then a quick trip around Dedham Mill pool and back to the van for Mag to drive home as I was knackered !!!!!
